Barb Baker offered a simple, uncluttered display of unique tools and embellishments to please any fiber artist. I settled into a seat, surrounded by fifteen women, some were experienced crochet'er and some, like myself had only a little experience and knowledge about the art. Within minutes, Barb was able to make each feel comfortable about holding the some what strange, elongated hook, as well as, be able to become acquainted with the renewed art of Tunisian Crochet. My heart belongs to the caves and I am really going to miss the Fiber Frenzy Retreat this weekend. Please take a look and see if anyone would be interested in a class for next year. You can watch a very dry and long demonstration about my craft at hatshaper.com . This would give future customers a peak into the hard work that goes into making a hand felted hat. I am a much better hat maker than picture taker. I have more hats to post, it just takes me a bit to get good photos. Have fun this weekend. If you are planning to come and want to learn how to spin we could probably arrange an individual lesson for you if you like. There will be lots of spinners, and we generally are a helpful bunch and share our knowledge willingly, so I'm sure we can get you hooked up with someone who would be willing to teach you how to spin.
